Jodi Knox is an Exercise Physiologist, Yoga Teacher and Massage Therapist with the ability to effectively convey her expertise in exercise and body mechanics to each individual client. She holds a masters and bachelors degree in exercise science from Southern Connecticut State University and is a state licensed massage therapist. Jodi has been helping clients and students through exercise, yoga and body work for over 25 years.
Alex Denny DPT, CSCS
Dr. Alex Denny completed his Doctor in Physical Therapy (DPT) at Russell Sage College, Troy, NY in 2021 and is currently working at a performance training and physical therapy clinic in Burlington, VT.
Alex’s passion for the human body began early in life. He played lacrosse growing up and then for Castleton University, where he graduated with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science in 2015. Before starting his doctoral work, Alex spent three years coaching elite skiers, snowboarders, and cyclists at a private school in Killington, VT. In 2018, Alex became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). While in Killington, Alex collaborated with other coaches, athletic trainers, and healthcare professionals in coaching, training, and rehabilitating athletes both virtually and face to face, all of which strengthened his passion for the versatility of the human body. As a result of his experiences and work as head strength and conditioning coach and assistant alpine ski, freeski, and lacrosse coach, Alex developed a keen eye for movement and performance across multiple athletic disciplines: the gym, the field, and the ski slopes, all of which led to him to returning to school for a doctorate in physical therapy.
With his background in athletics, his passion for the potential of the human body, and as a doctor of physical therapy (DPT), Alex brings a unique skillset to training athletes. His work is centered around sound movement technique training and education, and the ability to prescribe therapeutic exercises to create functional, balanced, and able athletes.
Alex spends his free time outside skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing. He also enjoys yoga, Crossfit, and trail running. Alex and Melyssa are budding acro yogis and love to spend time with their goldendoodle pup, Ralphie. She joins them on almost every adventure and is training to be a therapy dog!
